How to Register a License Server for WebStorm

When attempting to register your WebStorm license, it's essential to follow the correct procedure to avoid any issues. Here are some crucial tips to ensure a successful registration.

Firstly, if your license is registered in your company name, it will not work with your personal name. This highlights the importance of ensuring that both the username and license key are case-sensitive. Make sure you're using the specified user name provided in your license certificate email.

When prompted for the license key, be cautious of the following:

* The OK button will remain disabled until both the correct username and license key for the product are provided.

* Key groups are separated with a minus symbol (-), so avoid replacing it with a dash when copying.

* IntelliJ IDEA versions before 11.1.5 have a single-line input field, which may not work with 4-line license keys.

To copy your license key correctly:

* Copy from the original email view without any modifications made by mail clients or software.

* Download the txt file from your account and paste it into the key text field.
